Last week they were having 50 cent wing night at the clippers game!? I mean who can really pass that up. Plus we have free tickets thanks to the amazing Lauren!

Can't get any better than that.

So 3 of the 4 girls got up to go to the bathroom....and the guys behind us... over my shoulder...started making all these jokes about girls who go to the bathroom in packs. They must not have thought I could hear them or else they didn't care. Good thing I'm easy going because I actually thought that it was pretty funny. Oh well...get used to it boys.

DIY Hanging a Plate

My Mom bought me this plate last year for Christmas. The plate has a bunch of different places that we went while we were in Paris. I have no idea what to do with it since it is just one plate?!

I was at Hobby Lobby and I walked past this little gem...

Its a plate display hanger!? Now that I can work with.

I have this empty space above the oven so I hung my plate here

 I still want to do something on the sides of the plate like write "Bon Appetit" or something. I will have to go

back and look for a stencil.

I'm also open to other suggestion ideas to complete this little project.

There was a little card. Two nail polishes and a Burt's Bee's chap stick. I actually have never tried this chap stick so I am excited to give it a whirl .

Easy Bannana Dessert

My in laws were in town this last week from Texas. My father-in-law loves banana pudding. I don't really understand why he loves it so much but I thought I would make it for him as dessert.  Its is so easy.

You need the three ingredients above + Whip Cream. I forgot to picture this since it was in the fridge. You will also need cold milk in order to make the vanilla instant pudding.

Step 1: Make pudding as directed on box and stick in the fridge

Step 2: layer bottom of bowl with vanilla wafers

Step 3: Add a layer of pudding

Step 4: Add layers of bananas

Step 5: Add layer of cool whip

Step 6: add bananas decoratively around the top 

Step 7: Store in fridge till ready to serve

Ta-Da!

I would say this would easily serve about 6 people. You can also get the low fat pudding and cool whip to cut some calories. Enjoy.

I'm so glad that it is Friday! I'm linking up with Long Distance Loving for Friday Fancies.  When I saw that we were doing things that were "red" I was very excited! I love red and do not wear near enough of it. I saw this dress and fell instantly in love. Granted I think this is not an every day item piece but I still long to have it be in my closet! I also love that these heels have some red undertones on the bottom :)

Feather extensions!

I have been seeing a lot of celebrities with these feather extensions. Also my bestie recently got them and I thought they were adventurous. I wanted to try it out....so I went spur of the moment last Friday!

Here were all the options that they had at the salon. I loved that they hung them all on a bird cage. Very cute.

There are two but the wind was no helping

Well its a cool way to try something new and trendy. The salon I went to said you can wash, curl and straighten you hair feathers. Just treat it like regular hair. There is a little clamp bead that hold the feathers to a small piece of your hair. As your hair grows out you can take the clamp out and use the feathers again to put in a higher spot. (I think you could probably buy the clamps at like jo-ann's and do this yourself...if you feel brave).


On another note...my best friend Nicole over at Dancing with Sunshine did a tutorial a few days ago on how to make your own headband. You can find the post here. Anyway I loved the one she did so much that she made me one...and even put it in the mail for me so I wouldn't have to wait till we have a shopping trip in two weeks. What a gem!

Also, I got a cold from my husband this week. He has it and only has the sniffles. I have it and have to call off work because I am dying! WHAT GIVES? I'M THE ONE WHO TAKES VITAMINS! ARGH
I went to bed because I was so exhausted and we had none of the essentials in the fridge that a sick person needs. Jared went to the grocery after I went to bed and got me everything! Here is the note he left for me in the morning! SO PRECIOUS! LOVE HIM!

I saw this little gem! Where has it been all my life. I have ruined one to many bedspreads and rugs but having a little spill while trying to balance the nail polish bottle.

I also stumbled across this dress. SWOON. I love it! It looks like the most perfectly tailored wrap dress.

I also found this picture of L.C. ... I love this dress as well. Granted she looks too cute in it, but it has the best summer colors.

I have a slight obsession with cupcakes. By this I mean I really like to eat them!  I want to do this for a friends birthday that is coming up.
