I made my first Guacamole recipe ever...
Turns out it is very simple...who knew?
Well I started by watching a video on how to cut avocado. (I told you I was a neub)
Turns out this is not as complicated as I thought.
The next step is just adding in all the ingredients that you like in your dip
Recipe:
2-3 avocados
2 Roma tomato's
1 whole lime squeezed
enough onions for taste
I used several shakes of salt, pepper and garlic powder
I used maybe 3 tablespoons of chopped fresh cilantro
mix together and serve same day to keep from oxidizing (turning brown)
I would smash all ingredients together first and then add tomato's last
stole this picture from the Internet...mine looked just like this |
Anyway....the whole project was a success and I think that if you have never tried to make the dip you should give it a whirl. I was shocked how easy it was.
Have a Happy Tuesday everyone!

This looks delicious! I have always wanted to try making my own guacamole but end up buying a container of it because I am afraid it's going to be too hard! Glad to see that yours turned out well -- I'm inspired to make my own now!

gaucamole is one of the best things ever. I use a rachael ray recipe that I love and it is always a hit at parties. I think its because it adds a touch of jalepeno and a whole lotta minced garlic. so good.
