Dogs LOVE ice cream!

Took the dogs to Dairy Queen and got them doggie cones.

I think they really liked it after the walk up there.

Frank takes his ice cream deadly serious.

Also I wanted to share with you a tip that I picked up from a magazine this week
I had a ring on my kitchen table from where I brought a planter in and set it on the table.
I didn't realize the bottom was wet and ended up with a ring that was huge on the middle of my table
UGGGG...I thought I had ruined our table!
Anyway here is what you have to do

BEFORE

Take a old towel and lay it over the ring

Take a hot iron and run it over the ring for several mins.

This will draw the moisture out of the table into the towel

I tried mayo on the ring too...which you can see in the picture and that does not work...FYI

AFTER!

You can still see the ring a little bit if you are looking for it but it help SO MUCH!

NEW JOB!!

Well bloggies I have BIG news!

I had a girlfriend who recently told me about her amazing job.

She also happened to mention that there was going to be opening in the near future.

So for a few weeks I waited to hear...

Then I got the email from my friend (props to katie) saying that I should apply and she wrote me a letter of recommendation!

I hopped right too!

A week later I heard that I had been selected for an interview. ( I guess I should tell you about the job)

The job is doing marketing for the Culinary Art Institute.

I will got to schools and trade shows and tell them all about the programs and college.

SOUNDS FANTASTIC!

When I'm not traveling I work from home!

Also I work a teachers schedule....Let me repeat.

I WORK A TEACHERS SCHEDULE!

So I have a large portion of the summer OFF!!
WAHOOOOOOO.

Anyway I am so excited. I have been keeping it under wraps because I was afraid to mention it and then be super disappointed if I did not get the job.
Also some of my work friends follow me and I didn't want them to hear though the Internet....I'll miss you Ashley and Jenn :)

Well three interview later....Here I am!
I put in my two weeks notice today....its was very nerve racking.
I'm excited to start this new journey and incredibly nervous too!

It's okay that yesterday instead of going to the gym I went out to dinner with a friend

It's okay that I spent the even doing crafts and burning my thumb severely with a hot glue gun

Its okay that this morning I touched my arm to the hot tea kettle and burned my wrist

Its okay that I'm whining about the two burns I received in the last 24 hours

Its okay that I did not really feel like blogging today but then "It''s Okay" came along :)

Its okay that my birthday is not for three weeks and I have already been planning how to celebrate

Its okay that I love fall and yet despise Halloween

Its okay that I'm dying to dress up our wiener dog as a hot dog in a bun for Halloween

Its okay that the knob on my heater in the car broke and now I have no way to defrost the window
