Roasted Brussel Sprouts

here's another new recipe that I tried this week. I officially hate brussel sprouts.....till now. I found this recipe (for the life of me I cant find it anywhere) online and all the comments were raving about how fantastic the brussel sprouts were and even if you don't like them you should try them cooked like this first.
So I apprehensively bought some brussel sprouts and gave it a whirl.
DELICIOUS!
At least I thought so...Jareds response was ..."yeah...they are alright" and then proceeded to make a broccoli steamers bag as his side of veggies.. UGG WHAT SHOULD I DO WITH HIM?!

this is in the pan right before cooking

this is right out of the oven... the little dark roasted leaves were the best!
Next time I make this someone suggested sprinkling a little Parmesan cheese on top. Probably a great addition.

Roasted Brussel Sprots
2 lbs of brussel sprouts (cut ends off and cut sprouts in half)
7 cloves crushed garlic
3 tbs of olive oil ( I added more than this as it was cooking)
salt and pepper- maybe 1/2 to a 1/4 tsp. of each
1/2 to 3/4 cup of water to help cook the sprouts

I cut this recipe in half when I made it. 1 lb of spouts was plenty for two people

Toss all the ingredients together and bake at 425 degrees  for 20-25 mins

Enjoy! Tomorrow is Friday.... Wahoo

I really like brussel sprouts! When they are done correctly they are fabulous and so filling. But if they are done poorly then it's no wonder people hate them. Looks like you found a good recipe! :)
